We want to alert you to a DRIVER feature that needs to be set when installing the Ford Performance Parts M-1821-B Bronco Winch Kit. Please discuss this with the dealer to ensure the customer is knowledgeable. There will be a more formal way of sharing this information, an update to Instruction Sheets, to come.
This relates to vehicle equipped with Forward Sensing System/8 Channel Park Aid (4 sensors on Modular Front Bumper).
After installation, the front sensors need to be toggled off.
Using SYNC Touchscreen:
1. Press Features on the touchscreen
2. Press Driver Assistance
3. Park Aid Assist On or Off will display. Select Off.
Note: The system remembers the last setting when you start your vehicle.
